FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY RURAL WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION AGENCY (FCT-RUWASSA) IN COLLABORATION WITH WATERAID NIGERIA

CALLS FOR TENDER

INVITATION TO TENDER AND INSTRUCTION TO TENDERERS

(1.0)       PREAMBLE

Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency and WaterAid Nigeria with funding support from Cummins Inc. under the improving water, Sanitation, and Hygiene project hereby invites tenders from reputable and qualified companies for the construction of water facilities in the Dnako and Byazhin communities.

(2.0)       SCOPE OF WORK

·         Lot 1: Construction of a water facility with reticulation to a kiosk in the Dnako community. Construction shall be done in LEA primary school with reticulation to a Kiosk. 2 Tap stands and Handwashing stands to be constructed within the school.

·         Lot 2: Upgrade of a water facility reticulated into a sanitation facility at Chief Palace, Byazhin, and upgrade of a sanitation facility (a block of 2 compartments).

·         Lot 3: Access road rehabilitation & construction of drainage in Byazhin.

(3.0)       MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Companies interested in participating in the tendering process are to submit their company profiles which must contain the following:

(i)           Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);

(ii)          Evidence of Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2021, 2022, 2023);

(iii)         List of certified Board Members showing their designation on the Board

(iv)         The forwarding letter submitting the bid documents should be signed by the Chairman of the Board or his alternate.

(v)          Resume of key technical staff (Geologist or Hydrogeologist, Civil and Structural Engineer and Electrical or Mechanical Engineer) stating their years of experience, relevant past work done and evidence of membership of a Professional body.

(vi)         Verifiable evidence of similar projects previously undertaken, including letters of awards and Completion Certificates within the pass three (3) years; also, indicate the financial value of these similar projects;

(vii)       Certified copies of company bank statements in the last 6 months

(viii)      Description and list of relevant equipment owned by the company; include proof of ownership or lease or license over the equipment;

(ix)         A work plan indicating how the work will be carried out from start to finish and the number of days required to complete the work.

(4.0)       COLLECTION/SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS AND COMPANY PROFILES

Interested bidders are to collect their tender documents from the procurement office of FCT RUWASSA and submit same alongside their company profile from 9 to 22 May 2024 between 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays. The tender documents and the Company profile shall be in THREE copies marked (ONE original and TWO photocopies), of technical and financial bid documents should be sealed, packed and labelled in different envelopes tagged technical bid and financial bid as appropriate. The two sealed envelopes should be repacked into one bigger envelope, sealed and labelled as stating the Project title, the Lot number and addressed to the Office of the Executive Director as indicated below:

All Completed Tenders should be registered in the Tender Submission Register at the Procurement Unit before dropping in the Tender Box until 11 a.m. on the 22 May, 2024. Bid opening shall follow at noon of the same day at the Conference Hall of FCT RUWASSA.

(5.0)       MANDATORY SITE VISIT

Mandatory visits to the sites must be carried out by all Tenderers. This visit will take place within the tender period. Tenderers are to take photo shots of the locations as evidence of compliance.
